Thatmeans,eachCloudBoostdevicesupportsaminimumof10concurrentstreamsandamaximumof80concurrentstreams.

Eachclouddevicecanhandleamaximumof80concurrentstreams.
NetworkdependenciesCloudbackupsdependonthenetworkconnectionthataccessesthecloudservice.
Anydisruptioninconnectivityoraslowdowninnetworkspeedcanadverselyaffectcloudbackupsorrecoveries.
TheCloudBoostappliancerequiresproperDNSnameresolution.
Considerthefollowingpointsbeforeyousetupthenetworkforcloudbackups:lIfthelatencybetweenthesourceandcloudobjectstoreishigherthan50ms,backupandrestorethroughputfromtheobjectstoremightbeimpacted.
NetWorkercansustain100msonthemetadatapath.
However,packetlosssignificantlyimpactsthebackupsuccessrate.
lIfthereisahigh-latencylinkandsomepacketlossbetweentheNetWorkerserver,client,andtheCloudBoostappliance,setahighclient-retryvalueforthebackupsobackupsarere-tried.
lAnincreaseof5mslatencyinthedatapath(clientstothecloudobjectstore,theCloudBoostappliance,orthecloudobjectstore),hasthefollowingimpacts:nFortheinitialfullbackup,throughputistwototwoandahalftimesslower.
nConsecutivebackupsareabout20percentslowercomparedtoafullbackup.
lAhigher-latencylinkandhigherpacketlossesmightresultinsignificantlyslowerbackupoperations.
