ThesupersiteissetaroundtheDayekouGuantanForestStation.
Sincethesizeofthesupersiteis100m*100m,inordertofacilitatetheforeststructureparametersurvey,thesupersiteisdividedinto16sub-samplesites,andtallyforestmeasurementisperformedinunitsofsub-samples.
Thetallyforestmeasurementfactorsinclude:diameter,treeheight,heightunderbranch,crownwidthintransversalslopedirection,crownwidthinupanddownslopedirection,andtindividualtreegrowthstatus.
Themeasuringinstrumentsaremainly:tape,diameterscale,laseraltimeter,ultrasonicaltimeter,rangepoleandcompass.
Thedatasetalsorecordsthecenterpointlatitudeandlongitudecoordinatesof16sub-samples(measuredbyZ-MAXDGPS).
Thedatasetcanbeusedforverificationofremotesensingforeststructureparameterextractionalgorithm.
Thedataset,togetherwithotherobservationdataofthesupersite,canbeusedforreconstructionofforest3Dscenes,establishmentofactiveandpassiveremotesensingmechanismmodels,andsimulationofremotesensingimages,etc.
