2Information/Warning-PotentialMercuryVapourHealthIssuesThisprojectorusesaverypowerfulUHPlampforilluminationtoproduceanextremelybrightimage.
Thistechnologyissimilartootherhigh-pressuredischargelampsthatareextensivelyusedincars,streetlightsandotherlightingappliancestoday.
Theselamps,likefluorescentlighting,containsmallamountsofmercury.
Theamountofmercurypresentinalampisfarbelowthelimitsofdangersetbytheauthorities.
Itishoweververyimportantthatlampscontainingmercuryaretreatedproperlytominimizepotentialhealthhazards.
TheUHPlamp,likeanyotherhighbrightnessprojectorlamp,isoperatingunderhigh-pres-sure.
Evenifthelampandtheprojectorarecarefullydesignedtominimizetheprobabilityoflamprupture,thelampmaybreakwhileoperatingandsmallamountsofmercuryvapourmaybeemittedfromtheprojector.
Theprobabilityofruptureincreaseswhenthelampreachesitsexpectedlifetime.
Itisthereforehighlyrecommendedthatthelampisreplacedwhenthespecifiedlifetimeisreached.
Asageneralprecaution,securegoodventilationintheroomwhenoperatingtheprojector.
Iflampruptureoccurs,evacuatetheroomandsecuregoodventilation.
Childrenandpregnantwomeninparticularshouldleavetheroom.

Childrenandfetusesareparticularlysensitivetotheharmfuleffectsofmetallicmercurytothenervoussystem.
Seekmedicalattentionifanyoftheabovesymptomsareexperiencedorifotherunusualconditionsareexperiencedfollowinglamprupture.
Thisproductcontainschemicals,includinglead,knowntotheStateofCaliforniatocausebirthdefectsorotherreproductiveharm.
