BasePlatform:Eachbaseplatformwillsuccessfullyinstallagivenoperatingsystem,successfullyrunadiskstresstest,andsuccessfullyrunanetworkstresstest.
AdapterCompatibility:Adaptercompatibilityvalidation(CV)testingusestestsuitestogainanaccurateviewofhowtheserverperformswithawidevarietyofadaptersundertheprimarysupportedoperatingsystems.
Thesetestsaredesignedtoshowhardwarecompatibilitybetweenthecardsandtheserverplatformandincludefunctionaltestingonly.
NoheavystressingofthesystemsorthecardsisperformedforCVtesting.
StressTesting:Thistestsequenceusesconfigurationsthatincludeadd-inadaptersinallavailableslots,(dependingonchassisused)foraminimum72-hourtestrunwithoutinjectingerrors.
Eachconfigurationpassesaninstallationtest,aNetwork/DiskStresstest,andtapebackuptest.
