INFORMATION FOR ALL FLOAT ENTRIES

The fol lowing rules must be observed:ALLFLOATSwi l l be inspected forpossible safety hazards. Thecommittee reservesthe rightto prohibit obviously unsafe entriesfrom participation in the Parade.

Participantsshal l not be al lowedto ride and/orperform onfloats underthefol lowingconditions:

1. Exposed to open rotaryequipment,belts,pul leys and othersuch devices.

2. Devicesand/orplatforms notwel l secured whi le performing.

3. Handrai lsand/orbars have NOTbeen provided.

Dancingorsimilaractivitiesare notal lowed onfloatswhile in motion.The displayand/ordistribution ofpolitical/campaign material is prohibited.No motorized bicycles orscooters are al lowed to participate in theParade.

Because throwing objectsfrom vehicles/floats creates a safety hazardfor children along the parade route,please have Parade walkers hand out candy or objects to the audience.

Please be sure to STAY ON yourfloat until SAFELYSTOPPEDAT VILLAGE ELEMENTARY PARKING LOT.Parade FloatJudgingwi l l beginatHartland MiddleSchool atOreCreekat10:45AM,MondayMay25,2016–MEMORIALDAY. Floatsarrivingafter10:45AM wi l l not bejudged.Al l otherParade participants must be atOre CreekMiddleSchool nolaterthan 11:30AM. The Parade beginsat12Noon.
