TheKMB001evaluationsystemusestheIntersilKonverterAnalyzersoftware,whichdisplaysallpertinentdatasuchasSFDR,SINAD,ENOB,harmonics,current,andpowermeasurements.
Thesoftwarealsoplotsoutputsinfrequencyspectraandtimedomain.
Tobegintesting,simplyconnecttheinputsignal,samplingclock,andtargetcomputertothemotherboard,andsupplypower(Figure1).
Themotherboardprovidesappropriatesupplyvoltagesandcapturesdigitaldatafromthedaughtercard.
DaughtercardscontaintheADCsandattachdirectlytotheKMB001toformtheADCevaluationplatform(Figure2).
Toensureproperoperationofthesystem,itisrecommendedthatthemostcurrentsoftwareversionbeinstalled.
IfIntersilKonverterAnalyzerisalreadyinstalledonthemachine,itmustbeuninstalledpriortoinstallationofthelatestversion.
