Offeringeightsimultaneouschannelsofdialoguenoisesuppression,ithostsanewDNSalgorithmboastingasimplified'2-knob'approachaswellasadetailededitingmodethatoffersmoreflexibilityandcontrolthananypreviousdialoguenoisesuppressor.
Nonetheless,itretainsthenear-zerolatencyofitspredecessorsand,withits4-pin12VDCpowersocketandremotecontrolcapabilities,it'ssuitableforuseinalllivesituations-notjustlive-to-airbroadcasting,butalsolivesoundinvenuessuchastheatres,concerthalls,conferencesvenues,andplacesofworship.
TheDNS8Liveoperatesbydividingincomingsignalsintoalargenumberofspectralbands.
Sophisticatedfiltersanalyseeachoftheseandthensuppressthenoiseindependentlyineachchannel.
Theinnovativedesignofthefilterbankeliminatestheneedtoselecttherangeoffrequenciesinwhichtheunitwilloperate,anditisnotnecessarytoadjusttheamountofattenuationinindividualbandsunlessyouwishtodoso.

Clicktheknob(ifnecessary)tohighlighttherighthandfader"G"(Gain).
TurntheknobanticlockwisetoreducetheGaintoitsminimum.
Maximumprocessingisnowoccurring,whichmakesiteasiertodeterminethenoiselevelinthatchannel.
Nowclicktheencodertohighlightthe"L"(Level)faderand,startingatitslowestsetting,raisethisslowly.
Atfirst,youwillhearverylittlehappenbut,atsomepointdeterminedbythenoisecontentofthesignal,youwillhearthenoisedisappear.
Youshouldattempttofindthelowestpointatwhichthisoccurs.
FinallyyouneedtosetanappropriateamountofnoisesuppressionusingtheGaincontrol.
Clicktheknobtoswitchtothis,andthenfindthepositionfortheGainthatsuppressesasmuchnoiseaspossiblewithoutintroducingunwantedartefactsintothedesiredsignal.
ProcessOn/OffWhiledeterminingthesettings,youcanbypassprocessingbypressingandholdingthechannelknob(preview),orbydouble-clickingonthechannelknob(toggleprocessingon/off),orbypressingS1.

TheLicenseeacknowledgesthatallsuchrightsarethepropertyoftheCompanyandshallnotquestionordisputetheownershipofanysuchrightsnoruseoradoptanytradingnameorstylesimilartothatoftheCompany.

2TheLicenseeshallnotattempttoreverseengineer,modify,copy,mergeortranscribethewholeoranypartoftheSystemoranyinformationordocumentationrelatingthereto.

LIMITEDWARRANTYANDPOST-WARRANTYOBLIGATIONS4.
1TheCompanywarrantsthataSystemwillperformsubstantiallyinaccordancewiththeappropriatesectionofitsaccompanyingproductmanualforaperiodofoneyearfromthedateofsupplytotheCompany'simmediatecustomer.

2TheCompanywillmakegoodatitsownexpensesbyrepairorreplacementanydefectorfailurethatdevelopsinaSystemwithinoneyearofsupplytotheCompany'simmediatecustomer.

3TheCompanyshallhavenoliabilitytoremedyanydefect,failure,errorormalfunctionthatarisesasaresultofanyimproperuse,operationorneglectofaSystem,oranyattempttorepairormodifyaSystembyanypersonotherthantheCompanyorapersonappointedwiththeCompany'spriorwrittenconsent.

4InthecaseofanydefectorfailureinaSystemoccurringmorethantwelvemonthsafteritssupplytotheCompany'simmediatecustomertheCompanywillatitsoptionandforareasonablefeemakegoodsuchdefectorfailurebyrepairorreplacement(attheoptionoftheCompany)subjecttothefaultyequipmenthavingfirstbeenreturnedtotheCompany.
TheCompanywillusereasonableeffortstoreturnrepairedorreplacementitemspromptly,allshipping,handlingandinsurancecostsbeingfortheaccountoftheLicensee.

5Theaboveundertakings4.

4areacceptedbytheLicenseeinlieuofanyotherlegalremedyinrespectofanydefectorfailureoccurringduringthesaidperiodandofanyotherobligationsorwarrantiesexpressedorimpliedincludingbutnotlimitedtotheimpliedwarrantiesofsaleabilityandfitnessforaspecificpurpose.

6TheLicenseeherebyacknowledgesandacceptsthatnothinginthisDocumentshallimposeupontheCompanyanyobligationtorepairorreplaceanyitemafteratimewhenitisnolongerproducedorofferedforsupplybytheCompanyorwhichtheCompanycertifieshasbeensupersededbyalaterversionorhasbecomeobsolete.

FORCEMAJEURETheCompanyshallnotbeliableforanybreachofitsobligationshereunderresultingfromcausesbeyonditsreasonablecontrolincluding,butnotlimitedto,fires,strikes(ofitsownorotheremployees),insurrectionorriots,embargoes,containershortages,wrecksordelaysintransportation,inabilitytoobtainsuppliesandrawmaterials,orrequirementsorregulationsofanycivilormilitaryauthority.

NOTICESAnynoticesorinstructiontobegivenhereundershallbedeliveredorsentbyfirst-classpostortelecopiertotheotherparty,andshallbedeemedtohavebeenserved(ifdelivered)atthetimeofdeliveryor(ifsentbypost)upontheexpirationofsevendaysafterpostingor(ifsentbytelecopier)upontheexpirationoftwelvehoursaftertransmission.

ASSIGNMENTANDSUB-LICENSINGTheLicenseemayathisdiscretionassignaSystemandindoingsoshallassignthisLicenseitsrightsandobligationstothepurchaserwhoshallwithoutreservationagreetobeboundbythisLicense.
TheoriginalLicenseeandanysubsequentLicenseesshallbeboundbytheobligationsofthisLicenseinperpetuity.
9.
LIMITATIONOFLIABILITYTheCompany'smaximumliabilityunderanyclaimincludinganyclaiminrespectofinfringementoftheintellectualpropertyrightsofanythirdpartyshallbe,attheoptionoftheCompanyeither:(a)returnofasumcalculatedasthepricereceivedfortheSystembytheCompanyfromitsimmediatecustomerdepreciatedonastraightlinebasisoveraoneyearwrite-offperiod;or(b)repairorreplacementofthosecomponentsoftheSystemthatdonotmeetthewarrantiescontainedwithinthisDocument.
TheforegoingstatestheentireliabilityoftheCompanytotheLicensee.

CONSEQUENTIALLOSSEveniftheCompanyhasbeenadvisedofthepossibilityofsuchdamages,andnotwithstandinganythingelsecontainedhereintheCompanyshallundernoeventbeliabletotheLicenseeortoanyotherpersonsforlossofprofitsorcontractsordamage(whetherdirectorconsequential)arisinginconnectionwithaSystemoranymodification,variationorenhancementthereofandincludinganydocumentationordataprovidedbytheCompanyorforanyotherindirectorconsequentialloss.

ENTIREAGREEMENTTheCompanyshallnotbeliabletotheLicenseeforanylossarisinginconnectionwithanyrepresentations,agreements,statementsorundertakingsmadepriortothedateofsupplyoftheSystemtotheLicensee.
12.
TERMINATIONThisLicencemaybeterminatedforthwithbytheCompanyiftheLicenseecommitsanymaterialbreachofanytermsofthisLicense.
ForthwithuponsuchterminationtheCompanyshallhaveimmediaterightofaccesstotheSystemforthepurposeofremovingit.
13.
SEVERABILITYNotwithstandingthatthewholeoranypartofanyprovisionofthisDocumentmayprovetobeillegalorunenforceabletheotherprovisionsofthisDocumentandtheremainderoftheprovisioninquestionshallremaininfullforceandeffect.

HEADINGSTheheadingstotheClausesareforeaseofreferenceonlyandshallnotaffecttheinterpretationorconstructionofthisDocument.

LAWThisDocumentshallbegovernedbyandconstruedinaccordancewithEnglishlawandalldisputesbetweenthepartiesshallbedeterminedinEnglandinaccordancewiththeArbitrationAct1950and1979.
