Wang'sresearchhasfocusedonexploringthevalueofadvancedMRImethodstoimprovediagnosisandtherapeuticevaluationofdiseasesofthecentralnervoussystemsuchasstrokeandgliomas.
Shehasgivenover300invitedlecturesatinternationalandnationalscientificandeducationalmeetings,includingplenaryandkeynotetalksonfunctionalMRI,molecularMRIandmulti-parametricMRIinstroke,gliomaandothercentralnervoussystemdiseases.

Wangco-directsthe"JointLaboratoryfortheStudyofBrainFunctionalAtlas"betweentheLaboratoryfortheStudyoftheBrainBasisofIndividualDifferencesattheMGHMartinosCenterforBiomedicalImaging,HarvardMedicalSchool,andHenanProvincialPeople'sHospital.
SheisalsotheprincipalinvestigatoroninternationalcooperativegrantsfromtheNationalNaturalScienceFoundationofChina(NSFC)andtheMinistryofScienceandTechnologyofChina.
Owingtohercontributionstothefield,shewasawardedthe2017OutstandingContributionAwardbyOCSMRMandtheGoldMedaloftheCSR.

Furthermore,sheistheISMRMBoardofTrusteemember,andthefirst"ESMRMB/ISMRMcertifiedteacherinclinicalMRI"inChina.
Dr.
WangisalsotheVice-ChairoftheChineseChapteroftheISMRM,andshehasservedontheAnnualMeetingProgramCommittee(AMPC),theMRValueInitiativeCommittee,theChaptersCommittee,theAdHocCommitteeonWomeninISMRM,theVicepresidentofYouthCommitteeofChineseSocietyofRadiology(CSR),andthevice-presidentofCSMRMinchargeoftheinternationalaffairs.
Beingactiveandwillingtocontributetotheinternationalcommunicationandcollaboration,shehashelpedtoorganizetheCSMRM-OCSMRMjointmeetings,theISMRMOutreachWorkshopsinChina,andtheChina/Europe/Japan/KoreajointsessionfortheCSMRMannualmeeting.
Thankstotheseexperiences,shewasabletohelptoarrangethecooperativecommunicationagreementsbetweentheCSMRM,theESMRMB(Europe),theJSMRM(Japan)andtheKSMRM(Korea).

Wang'sgoalsforservingthesocietyincludesupportingitsimportantrolesincareerdevelopmentofyoungscientistsandenhancingtheconnectionsandcollaborationsnotonlybetweenoverseasandChinabutalsoamongrelatedsocietiesinothercountries.
ShewouldliketoexpandtheparticipationofscientistsandradiologistsworkingwithMRIinChinaandothercountriestojoinandcontributetotheOCSMRMandbridgeindustry,researchersandclinicianstohelpstudents/postdocsandjuniorinvestigatorssucceedbyprovidingprofessionaldevelopmentguidance,collaboration,fundingsupportandjobopportunities.
