Pullfirmlyuponairboxtoreleaseairboxfromgrommetsonlowerairboxsupportbracketassembly.
NOTE:K&Nrecommendsthatcustomersdonotdiscardtheirfactoryairintake.

Pullrubberbootbackawayfromairbox.
Depresstabwithscrewdriverasshowntoreleaseelectricalconnection.
8.
Usingaflatbladescrewdriver,depresstabsoncovertoremovemassairsensor.

Loosenandremovethenutsfromthemassairsensor.
NOTE:Itmaybenecessarytousevisegripstosecurestuds.
10.
Removethelowerairboxsupportbracketfromfenderwell.
11.
Removethegrommetsfromlowerair-boxsupportbracket.
12.
Usingthehardwareprovided,assemblethemassairadapter,gasketandbracketsasshowninillustrationabove.
13.
Usingthehardwareandsupportbracketsprovided,attachthemassairassemblytotheairboxsupportbracket.
