Thisdocumentalsodescribesinoutlinetheproceduresrequiredforplanningtheindividualsystems,forreportingandkeepingrecordsofworkdone,andformanagingchangesagreedwhileworkisinprogress.

Thetestswillincludetheopticalpowerattheinputtotheopticalconvertor,themaximumandminimumsignallevelsandBERandMERqualitymeasurementsforeachoftheservices,measuredatthesocketoutletsasspecifiedbytheBuilder.
TheContractorshallprovideaprintedrecordofallmeasurements,eitherintabulatedorspectrumform,toSkyHomesandtotheBuilder,andshallalsokeepasetonfile.
FINALCOMMISSIONINGTheContractorwillhavetosupplyafinalcommissioningcertificate,indicatingsignalsattheinputsandoutputofthemainequipmentandlevelsreceivedattheoutlets.
TheContractorwillhavetodemonstratetotheBuilderthatthedigitalTVchannelsarequasierrorfree(<1error/hour).
TheContractorwillprovideallcertificationformsinaformatprovidedbySkyHomes.
RFtestequipmentmustbeaccuratetowithin+/-1.

00–August2016Sky(UK)Ltd201615DEFECTSLIABILITYANDMAINTENANCETheContractorshallmaintainthecompletesystemtothisSpecification,withoutchargeforaperiodof12monthsfromthefinaldateofcommissioning.
Thedatefromwhichthewarrantyperiodwillbeginisthedateofcommissioning,whichwillbenotedonthecompletioncertificate.
TheContractorwillattendtofaultsasreportedbytheBuilderoroccupierwithin24hoursorasotherwiseagreedinwritingbyallpartiesconcerned.
Allcablesandequipmentfoundtobefaultywithintheinitial12monthperiodwillberepairedorreplacedfreeofchargetotheBuilderandorpurchaser/occupier.

IfthefaultisoutsidethecontroloftheContractor,theBuilderandorpurchaser/occupierwillacceptareasonablechargebytheContractortorectifythefault.
MAINTENANCECONTRACTTheContractorshallprovidewithhistenderaproposalforamaintenancecontractforagivenperiodofyearsortoberenewedyearly.
