从《水浒传》到《荡寇志》看宋江性格的演变

摘要宋江是北宋时期真实的历史人物。施耐庵在民间传说的基础上写成《水浒传》把宋江演绎成“忠义”两全、讲“孝道”的英雄人物一个理想式的道德楷模但其结局却是悲剧性的。 《水浒传》续书——俞万春的《荡寇志》则一反原著把宋江刻画成不忠不义的贼寇 自私自利的虚伪小人给宋江安排被荡除的结局。本文通过《水浒传》和《荡寇志》的比较力图从统观历史的角度和发展的观点看待宋江性格变化并从成书过程、时代背景、作者的文化观念等方面探索宋江性格的演变的原因。指出宋江形象无论在传播过程还是读者的接受上
