香港貨櫃碼頭商會(HKCTOA)於2018年1月宣佈葵青貨櫃碼頭1已決定於2019年內全面實施入口貨櫃提櫃操作電子化,透過一路通有限公司(一路通)提供的技術方案,為各業界客戶2(特別是船公司、貨運代理、貨主及運輸公司),打開提升工作效率、節省營運成本的大門.
而這措施亦獲船公司積極參與並大力支持,目前已有十多間船公司,為其特選客戶提供電子提櫃單(eRO)服務;在3月11日起,WanHai*、Hapag-Lloyd及KMTC相繼率先全面開放eRO服務給其所有客户使用,eRO客戶在3月11日後可於eRO服務平台(eRO.
OnePort.
com)上,以電子形式處理3所有上述任何一間船公司的入口貨櫃提櫃事宜,往後階段全面開放的船公司名單(包括CKLine、CMACGM、DongYoung、Evergreen、Heung-A、Maersk、MSC、Namsung、ONE、RCL、Sealand、Sinokor、T.
