1A'PaymentOrder'isanyinstructionrequestingtheexecutionofapaymenttransactiononyourAccount.
WherewereceiveaPaymentOrder:beforetheCut-offTimeonanyBusinessDay,wewilltreatyourinstructionasbeingreceivedbyusonthesameBusinessDay;aftertheCut-offTimeonanyBusinessDay,wewilltreatyourinstructionasbeingreceivedbyusonthenextBusinessDay;outofNormalWorkingHours,wewilltreatyourinstructionasbeingreceivedbyusonthenextBusinessDay.

2Forthepurposesofthisprovision,wewillbedeemedtohavereceivedaPaymentOrderwhenweholdaproperlyauthorisedformofinstruction(seeclause3.

Youacknowledgeandagreethatwewillnotbeabletoprocessanytransactionintheabsenceofthesame.

3YouareresponsibleforensuringthecorrectnessandaccuracyofallPaymentOrdersforoutgoingpaymentsontheAccountandyouacknowledgethatweareundernoobligationtocheckwhethertheUniqueIdentifierorotherinformationprovidedwithaPaymentOrderiscorrect.

4AllpaymentsyouinstructustomakefromyourAccountwillbecreditedtothebeneficiarybankwithin1BusinessDayfollowingthedateofreceiptofthePaymentOrder.

5InrespectofpaymentsintotheAccount(i.

7Wemayrefusetoactonany(incomingoroutgoing)PaymentOrderwhere:yourinstructionsareunclear,incompleteorarenotintherequiredform(e.

theydonotcontainthesortcode,accountnumberoranyotherinformationthatweneedtoprocessthetransaction);oryourinstructionsarenotauthorisedinaccordancewiththeMandate;orwesuspectfraudulentorotherunlawfulactivityontheAccount;orthereareunavailableClearedFunds;ortodosowouldputusinbreachofalegalorregulatoryrequirementwhichappliestous.
WherewerefusetoprocessaPaymentOrderforanyreason,wewillinformyouaccordingly.

8ThewayinwhichyoumustauthoriseindividualpaymenttransactionsonyourAccountisdetailedwithintherelevantsectionoftheTransactionInformationBox.
InordertoprotectyourAccount,wehavedesignedvariousSecurityProceduresforuseinconnectionwithcertaintypesofpaymenttransactionswhichyoumustcompletetoauthorisethesepaymenttransactions.
WhereSecurityProceduresapply,youwillbetoldwhattherelevantSecurityProceduresarewhenyouinstructustocarryoutapaymenttransaction.
IfapaymenttransactionisauthorisedinaccordancewiththerelevantSecurityProceduresyouwill,intheabsenceofanyevidencetothecontrary,beliableforanysuchtransactions.

1Ifatanytimeyoubecomeawareof:atransactiononyourAccountthathasnotbeencorrectlyexecuted,oratransactiononyourAccountthathasnotbeenauthorisedbyyou,youmustineachcasenotifyuswithoutunduedelaybycallingtheCustomerServiceCentresowecaninvestigatethetransactionforyou.

2Thesooneryounotifyusandthemoreinformationyoucanprovideaboutthetransaction,thequickerwewillbeabletodeterminewhetherthetransactionwasinfactunauthorisedorexecutedincorrectly.
Insomecases,wemayaskyoutoputyourqueryinwriting.
Failuretonotifyuspromptlymaymeanthatyouarenotentitledtoarefundfromusorotherformofredress.

3OnceyouhavenotifiedusofanallegedunauthorisedorincorrectlyexecutedtransactiononyourAccount,wewillpromptlyinvestigateyourclaim.
Insomecases,wemayaskyoutogiveusfurtherinformationaboutthetransaction(forinstance,toenableusconfirmthatthetransactionwasproperlyauthenticated)orcooperatewiththepoliceorotherenforcementbodies.
