Thealternatefunctionshavebeendefinedsotheydonotinterferewithnormaltimeroperation.
TheEEPROMincludesaninternalprogramvoltagegeneratorsonoexternalhighvoltagesignalsarerequiredtostorenewdata.
ThememoryaccessmodeisinitiatedbyforcingtheCONTROLpintoGND.
Aftertheaccessmodeisenabled,theTRIGGER,RESETandOUTPUTpinsprovidetheSerialClock,DataInandDataOutfunctionsrespectively.
Theyareusedtoentercommands,selectanaddressandinput/outputdata.
Eachaccesscycleconsistsofaneight-bitcontrolbytefollowedbyeightbitsofinput(oroutput)data.
