ThereissubstantialdemandforBtobeaddedtoUnicode,theusercommunitysupportsaddingthesigntoUnicodeanditsadditionwouldfillasignificantgapinUnicode'scurrencysymbols.
ThisproposalhasthesupportoftheBitcoinFoundationaswellasotherBitcoinorganizations,companiesanddevelopers.
IntroductionBitcoinisapopularopen-sourcepaymentsystemandthebitcoinsignBisusedtorepresenttheunderlyingcurrencyinrunningtextandimages.
